# From answer engine to applied AI company.

veridive started as an answer engine for the spoken web. Today it is an applied AI company that helps organizations turn AI into systems their people use every day.

## What happened to veridive?

veridive began as an answer engine for the spoken web. It searched YouTube videos, podcasts, lectures and interviews live, and answered questions with a citation to the exact second in each source. Around it we built a personal library, monitoring agents, study and writing tools, a Chrome extension and an MCP server.

Building it taught us what makes AI useful in real work: answers grounded in real sources, quality you can measure, and interfaces people trust. The same questions decide whether AI works inside an organization, with more at stake: whose data, which permissions, who decides, and how you know it works.

So veridive changed direction. We are now an applied AI company. We help organizations decide where AI helps, build the software, connect the right data, bring their people with them and keep the systems reliable after launch, in Turkish and English.

The answer engine is no longer offered as a public product. Its central idea stays with us: every answer should come with a source you can check. It shapes how we build for clients, and it lives on in veridive Knowledge, our cited-answer engine for company video, audio and documents.

## Questions from people who used the answer engine

### Can I still use the veridive answer engine?

No, not on veridive.com. The answer engine, its apps and its free tools are no longer offered here, because veridive is now an applied AI company that builds systems for organizations. If you need something from your old account, write to hello@veridive.com from the email address you signed up with and tell us what you need.

### What happens to my account and subscription?

Write to hello@veridive.com from the email address on your account. Tell us which plan you had (Free, Standard, Premium or Max) and what you need to know about billing, renewals or refunds, and we will reply by email. Please don’t send passwords or card details in your message.

### What happens to my data?

Ask us directly: we answer data questions account by account. Email hello@veridive.com from the address on your account and say what you need, whether that is a copy of your data, its deletion, or confirmation of what is held. We reply to each request individually.

### Should I remove the veridive Chrome extension?

Yes. The extension was built for the answer engine, which is no longer offered, so it is not part of what veridive provides now. You can remove it at any time from Chrome’s Extensions page (chrome://extensions). If you have a question about it, write to hello@veridive.com.

### What about the veridive MCP server?

Remove it from any agent or tool that still uses it. The MCP server let AI agents and developer tools query the spoken web through veridive; it belonged to the answer engine and is no longer offered as a service. If a workflow of yours depended on it, write to hello@veridive.com and tell us how you used it.

### Where did the free YouTube tools go?

They are no longer available on veridive.com. The free tools for transcripts, summaries, notes, flashcards, quizzes, slides and posts were part of the answer engine. veridive now builds AI systems for organizations, including cited answers over company video, audio and documents. If that is what you need at work, start a project with us.

### Can I get back my saved chats, libraries or notes?

Ask us. Write to hello@veridive.com from the email address on your account and list what you need, such as chats, library items, notes or generated files, and we will tell you what is possible. We can’t promise that every item can be recovered, so please say what matters most to you.

### Is it the same company and team?

Yes, it is the same company. The team that built the answer engine now applies what it learned, from live search to citations people can check, to systems for organizations. We work with teams across Türkiye, Europe and the Gulf, in Turkish and English.
